Technical and Trade Skills Training Policy

The Iwukem Development Foundation (TIDF) is dedicated to empowering individuals with practical skills that promote sustainable livelihoods and career advancement through our Technical and Trade Skills Training programme. The following criteria outline the eligibility and application process:

Eligibility Criteria

1.  Age Requirement

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

2.  Education Level

Applicants must have completed at least Primary, secondary school education or equivalent.

3.  Proof of Identity

Applicants must provide valid identification, such as a government-issued ID card or passport.

4.  Personal Statement

Applicants must submit a personal statement (300 words) describing their interest in the technical or trade skill, career goals, and how the training will benefit them.

5.  Letters of Recommendation

Applicants must provide at least two letters of recommendation from teachers, employers or supervisors, school Principals, mentors, or community leaders who can speak to their character and potential.

6.  Commitment to Complete Training

Applicants must commit to completing the entire duration of the training programme.
