Academic Scholarships Policy
The Iwukem Development Foundation (TIDF) is committed to empowering underserved individuals by providing academic scholarships. To ensure fairness and transparency, we have established the following criteria for eligibility:
Eligibility Criteria
1. Enrollment in a Government-Owned University
The applicant must be enrolled in a government-owned university.
2. Proof of Admission
The applicant must provide a valid admission letter from the university.
3. Proof of Enrollment
The applicant must submit all necessary documents that prove they are currently a student, including a student ID card and recent academic transcripts.
4. Academic Performance
The applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 3.5 on a scale of 5.0.
5. Personal Statement
The applicant must submit a personal statement (500 words) explaining their academic goals, career aspirations, and how the scholarship will help them achieve these objectives.
6. Letters of Recommendation
The applicant must submit at least two letters of recommendation from academic or professional references such as teachers, lecturers, department heads, academic counselors, employers or supervisors, school Principals, mentors or community Leaders who can speak to their character and potential..
7. Residency
The applicant must be a resident of the country where the government-owned university is located.
8. Commitment to Return
The applicant must agree to use their education for the benefit of their community and country after graduation.
